Catalysing Africa’s Health Transformation

GITEX FUTURE HEALTH AFRICA/Morocco is the continent’s most influential event dedicated to accelerating healthcare innovation. Held under the authority of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Kingdom of Morocco, and hosted in strategic partnership with the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health, the event is organised by KAOUN International, producers of GITEX globally.

From 28-29 September 2027, the exhibition and summit will convene public health leaders, policymakers, investors, medical pioneers, and innovators to set the future trends of healthcare in Africa — through the transformative power of AI, digital technologies, and data intelligence.

With Africa’s healthcare market projected to reach US$259 billion and become the second-largest globally by 2030, the event responds to the growing urgency across the continent to modernise health systems, expand access, and reduce inequities.

GITEX Future Health Africa's mission is to accelerate healthcare innovation across the continent by creating a platform where technology, healthcare expertise, and investment converge to transform Africa's health systems, improve accessibility, and enhance patient outcomes through digital solutions.

GITEX Future Health Africa 2027 is organized by KAOUN International (producers of GITEX globally) under the authority of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Kingdom of Morocco, and in strategic partnership with the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health.

Morocco is hosting the event to reinforce its position as a regional hub for healthcare innovation and digital transformation in Africa. The country is committed to health as a fundamental human right and is pioneering health system reforms that leverage digital technologies to improve care delivery.

Unlike other healthcare events, GITEX Future Health Africa uniquely focuses on the intersection of technology and healthcare specifically for African contexts, offering a blend of policy discussions, investment opportunities, startup showcases, and technology demonstrations with high-level government support.

The event aims to catalyze healthcare transformation by fostering public-private partnerships, attracting investment in health tech, accelerating the adoption of digital solutions, and creating sustainable models for healthcare delivery that address Africa's specific challenges and opportunities.

GITEX Future Health evolves from the well-established GITEX ecosystem of technology events with over four decades of experience. The Africa-focused edition launched in 2026 represents a strategic expansion to address the continent's growing digital health landscape and innovation potential.
